Smudging is the cleansing of auras and energies of a person or space. Lighting the bundle and using the smoke around a person or space along with visualizing the removal of negative energy, forms the ritual of smudging.
Using a smudging tool is part of many wiccan/pagan traditions. The burning of herbs for emotional, psychic and spiritual purificationis also common practice among many religious, healing, and spiritual groups. In theory, the smoke attaches itself to negative energy and as the smoke clears it takes the negative energy with it, releasing it into another space where it will be regenerated into positive energy.
This stick contains Blue sage, Sweet grass, Sage flowers and Juniper.
BLUE SAGE- Dispels negative energy, attracts success, boosts spiritual protection, is a natural aromatherapy, enhances relaxation and promotes mindfulness. Use as an alternative to the potent fragrance of white sage, some prefer the floral calming aroma of blue sage. Blue sage can also be used during an exorcism
SWEET GRASS - Sweet grass has proven to be a sacred, powerful plant believed by many to dispel negative energy, and engage our minds and senses. Sweet grass is used to purify peoples auras, cleanse object, and clear ceramonial areas or healing spaces.
KINNIKINNICK - The term “kinnikinnick” derives from the Unami Delaware /kələkːəˈnikːan/, “mixture” (c.f. Ojibwe giniginige “to mix something animate with something inanimate“), from Proto-Algonquian *kereken-, “mix (it) with something different by hand”. The ancient magical properties of Knnikinnik include psychic power, strength, knowledge, courage, & honouring your ancestors.
JUNIPER _ is used for protection against evil forces or people, for sexual love magic and for healing spiritually-caused sickness it is best used for blessing a new venture or dwelling, and inviting in abundance. Though juniper gives off only minimal visable smoke, this smoke is highly aromatic. In ancient times people used it for ritual purification of temples and homes to ward off the effects of curses and bad luck.
